OLLI 0160 - Hands On: Create Four Seasons Fused Art
Course Description
Come and join us to make art. This hands-on class will guide you through the process of creating four gorgeous eight-inch round fused glass pieces depicting each of the four seasons: spring, summer, fall and winter. Kari Slater, an expert from Glaze studios in Thiensville, will guide participants in learning how to score and cut the glass and apply it to a base to create four beautiful, individual pieces. Let your creativity flow. Instruction and help will be provided during class. Each piece will be fired at Glaze studios and returned to the Hefter Center for pick up. The first ten members to register will be able to purchase (amount to be determined) a wrought iron stand to use to display their pieces. Alternative ideas for display will also be shared with everyone.
