PRMG 0018 - CAPM® Information Session
Course Description
Join UWM Program Manager Gyulsina Baisova and PMI® certified instructor Sandra Hoskins for an interactive information session about the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) Boot Camp and the value of earning this globally recognized PMI® credential.
One of the biggest advantages of the CAPM® is that it builds on the experience many people already have. If you work in trades, construction, maintenance, operations or a technical role, you likely already know a lot about how work gets planned and carried out. The CAPM® helps connect that hands-on experience to a practical project management framework, including planning, scheduling, risk awareness and communication with stakeholders.
Because the CAPM® does not require a university degree, it can be a practical option for experienced professionals who want to strengthen their project management knowledge and earn a respected credential. It can also be a good first step toward the PMP® certification. By combining real-world experience with formal project management training, professionals can build confidence, expand their opportunities and contribute more effectively to project success
