PRMG 0012 - PMP Information Session
Course Description
Join UWM Program Director Gyulsina Baisova and PMI® certified instructor Sandra Hoskins for an engaging information session on the Project Management Professional (PMP®) Boot Camp and the value of earning one of the world’s most respected project management credentials.
The PMP® is recognized across industries and confirms your ability to lead projects, teams and business priorities using predictive, Agile and hybrid approaches. For many working professionals, the PMP builds on experience they already have. If you have led projects, coordinated teams, managed timelines and budgets, solved problems or worked closely with stakeholders, you may already be doing much of what the PMP recognizes.
The credential helps turn that practical experience into a clear, globally recognized standard of project leadership and gives you a stronger foundation for leading with confidence in complex environments.
Because the PMP is designed for experienced project management professionals, it is a strong next step for people who want to validate their knowledge, strengthen their leadership credibility and expand their career opportunities.
According to the Project Management Institute (PMI®):
- PMP certification holders report higher median salaries on average across surveyed countries.
- The credential is held by more than 1.7 million professionals worldwide.
To apply, candidates need a combination of project leadership experience and formal project management education, including 35 hours of training. For many professionals, the PMP offers a practical way to turn years of hands-on work into a globally recognized credential that supports career growth, confidence and stronger project results.
Within this free informational session, you’ll learn about:
