Course Description

Build on your foundation from Polish I, or prior experience, and take your language skills to the next level in Polish II. Through active participation, this course helps you strengthen your ability to speak, listen, read, and write in Polish through engaging class activities and assignments.

You’ll review foundational grammar concepts such as noun cases and verb conjugation, while expanding into new topics like the genitive, locative and dative cases, as well as imperative and future tense forms. Vocabulary lessons focus on real-life topics including daily routines, transportation, directions and places, helping you become more confident in everyday conversation.

By the end of the course, you will have developed a stronger command of Polish grammar, pronunciation and conversational skills.

This hybrid course combines the flexibility of asynchronous, independent learning with the engagement of live online sessions. In addition to pre-recorded lectures and assignments, participate in six live online sessions, providing opportunities to interact with the instructor and classmates, ask questions, and deepen your understanding of the material.
